Sugar positioned Zen Koggala as more than a beautiful lakefront hotel. The concept connects 11 rooms with a dedicated 15-seat coworking space, shared living facilities, wellness and retreat potential—creating several reasons to book and several ways for the property to earn.

03 / OWNER VISION + SUGAR’S OPERATING CONCEPT
Architecture, ambition and hospitality strategy.
The original property was conceived and built by its owner, visionary and architect, Dr. Lalitha Piyarisi, with a strong relationship between contemporary architecture and its natural setting.
Sugar built on that foundation with a market-facing concept connecting long stays, coworking, wellness, community and retreats. The project shows how an owner’s vision can become a more distinctive, commercially flexible hospitality asset through focused positioning and specialist operations.
